Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) has become a familiar instrument to be used in wide range of engineering application. It can for the rapid capture accurate and highly detailed 3D point cloud datasets. The advantage laser scanner is that it record huge number points short period time. main idea this contribution assesses accuracy TLS relative other traditional surveying instruments. This done throughout four different case studies. In all studies coordinates, obtained using total station (TS) are assumed reference coordinates. First, control network, consists nine points, measured TS, TLS, real time kinematic global navigation satellite system (RTK-GPS). precision each investigated considering standard deviation (SD) measurements. addition, RTK-GPS measurements RMS. Secondly, grid levelling 30,000m2 ground terrain was performed TS TLS. After words, RMS computed 5mx5m generated from both surfaces; formed measurements. Thirdly, effect incidence angle on assessed by measuring fifty-six fixed building facade incident angles.
